What's New in the WebLogic Feature Pack 2.3

• A new name—Web Automation Manager (WAM) is now called the WebLogic Feature Pack.
• The WebLogic Feature Pack 2.3 now supports both WebLogic 8.1 and WebLogic 9.2 with Red Hat ELAS and Solaris versions supported by BEA, including Solaris 10 for x86 hardware.
• The WebLogic Feature Pack does not support WebLogic's new automatic server migration feature. Why not? WebLogic's automated server migration is similar to the WebLogic Feature Pack, but:
• WebLogic can't manufacture new service instances
• WebLogic doesn't support automatic load handling out of the box
• WebLogic automatic migration would conflict with WebLogic Feature Pack automated deployments
  
• You can run WebLogic 8.1 and 9.2 in the same Cassatt Active Response environment
• The WebLogic Feature Pack monitors WebLogic 9.2 using JSR 160. For more information, see Understanding Monitoring for Business Applications
