Q. What PG&E demand response programs are supported?

The PG&E feature pack supports both PG&E's Critical Peak Pricing (CPP) and Demand Bidding Program (DBP) programs.

Q. Are any other utility programs supported?

Cassatt currently only supports PG&E demand response programs. However, the PG&E feature pack uses a generic interface to the Demand Response Automated Server (DRAS) at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory that could be extended for use with Southern California Edison (SDE) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE).

Q. How does the PG&E feature pack affect normal Policy Manager operations?

In a couple of ways. First, the power policies you want to use in response to PG&E demand response events must be configured in Policy Manager. After the PG&E feature pack is installed, it schedules these polices to run after it receives PG&E demand response event notification. You'll see these schedules in the scheduled policies list in the Policy Manager. Second, the PG&E feature pack creates a new user (named DRASListener) in the Policy Manager.
